With the recent events in Iran it must not be forgotten that there has been loss of religious freedom for seven members of the Baha'i Faith. They have been unlawfully detained and face the penalty of death for their beliefs. A public awareness musical event for the repression of the Iranian Baha'is will be held
at Skansie Park & Pavilion near the Jerisich dock downtown Gig Harbor, WA. The concert will feature the acoustic guitar group "Salton C" and presentations from the officers of the Baha'i Spiritual Assembly of Gig Harbor. Letter responses on this issue from Senators Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell as well as from Congressman Norm Dicks will be available for the public.
